The Treasury Department announced the issuance of two Malta Government Stocks (“MGS”):

  • 3.40% Malta Government Stock 2027 (VI) Fungibility Issue (F.I.) at 100.90% with a YTM of 3.0958%, which corresponds to an annualised rate of 3.1197%, and
  • 3.50% Malta Government Stock 2034 (III) at 100.00% with a YTM of 3.5000%, which corresponds to an annualised rate of 3.5306%.

Applications for amounts that do not exceed €499,900 (nominal) close on Wednesday 31 July 2024 at 14:30 hours, or earlier at the discretion of the Accountant General. A tendering process applies for applications of €500,000 (nominal) and more.
